(0 vote) Jewelry Thru The Ages by Chris Campbell. Jewelry has been around for thousands of years. Vanity never goes out of style, and apparently neither does Jewelry. As long ago as 3000 BC the Egyptians were fashioning all kinds of jewelry out of gold. Gold was the choice medium for the jewelers of the pharaohs. It was rare, which of course made the jewelry it formed very valuable. Gold was also very easy to work with, so jewelers of the past c... products, articles
(0 vote) Online Jewelry by Gerald Bergam. There was a time when buying jewelery online was not really a common act for jewelery buyers, and most people would not even think of going to the Internet to do their shopping. Whatever the reason, the idea of buying jewelery online is still s... products, articles

Elizabeth Taylor - "The Lost Love" - by Richard Bassett | |
|
Many called Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor's relationship 'THE' romance of the 20th Century, far outweighing the press they received than of the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. The English couple retired into quiet country life. Richard and Elizabeth went on to (if it was even possible) achieve even more fame and fortune, personally and professionally. Their earlier romance was based of unity and passion. They had both given up their respective spouses to be together. They made their blended families work while jet setting all over the globe, making box office hit films and acquiring million dollar jets, yachts and jewelry. In the end, Elizabeth has often said that it was too much. They parted ways, only to get together...they parted ways once more, and came together professionally. Needless to say, they could not be without each other. I am convinced that, had he not died, Richard would have returned to Elizabeth after she was discharged from 'The Betty Ford Center'. Elizabeth thought so as well. But it wasn't meant to be. To hide her grief, Elizabeth plunged forward into the fight with AIDS. In viewing these short film clips, please donate to the cause that has become Dame Elizabeth Taylor's life mission for over two decades. The eradication of AIDS in the world. Until such time, "The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation" funds programs and organization that give direct care to the population of millions affected with HIV/AIDS...whether it is direct care or related/ associated services. So many people are now living longer with AIDS/HIV due to advances in viral medication technology, but the impact of living a life with AIDS is far reaching. AIDS affects all of us, in one way or another. Generations of young people are not conscious of the 1980's. The face of AIDS has changed since the time when those who were ill were visibly stigmatized, akin to being lepers. Now, those with HIV/AIDS live life among the general population attempting to cope with the disease. Sometimes, silently. Emotionally, the impact is just the same as those first diagnosed. Fear. The only solution is to rid the world of this disease, therefore opening a technological highway aimed to ignite the remedy to so many other diseases as well. Any amount of time or money will push this development ahead, not behind...never behind! Thank you, Richard Bassett
