Cleaning Your Jewelry Part 1

Taking care of the jewelry is an important task if you want to see it in an everlasting appealing form. Buying perfect jewelry is a skill and keeping that jewelry item in its perfect shape and shine needs more expertise on your part. Cleaning your jewelry is extremely important if you want to keep its newness and brightness intact.
There are many cleaning methods. You can get your jewelry items cleansed and polished by the professional jewelers if you want to. You can do it at home as well. In order to avoid the wear and tear that occurs as a result of daily use, you need to clean your jewelry as often as possible. For this purpose, there are many easy methods which you can use to clean the jewelry by your own self.
Cleaning the silver jewelry:It is easier to clean the jewelry items at home. There are so many dips and solutions available in the markets by using which you can retain back the shine and glow of these items. There are different solutions for different metals. But if you do not want to use the chemicals then you can clean your silver jewelry by simply rubbing it with a tooth brush with a mild soap.
Cleaning the gold jewelry:The same method goes for the gold jewelry. It accumulates so much dust and greasiness due to the daily wear. It tends to lose its shine and newness in this way. So, you constantly need to give it a washing and cleaning session. You can your gold jewelry items in the solution of a light detergent or a mild soap with warm water. Do not soak it for a longer time otherwise it may harm your jewelry.
Cleaning the platinum jewelry:It can be cleansed in the similar fashion but it might get damaged by the use of some washing agent. The better option is to get it cleansed professionally. It is an expensive metal so you should not take any risk. Or you can rub it with a soft brush with mild washing liquid. It can eliminate the impurities from the jewelry item.
Always remember to take off your jewelry before you go to bed or before you remove your make up. If you are cleaning them at home then do not use strong washing agents and do not let the jewelry soaked in it for a longer time. It can cause damage both to the stones and to the metals. Always wipe them with a polishing cloth after you clean them. Rubbing them with a soft and clean cloth will bring about the shine and glow. Follow these simple tips and make your jewelry new as always.
